FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING AND

WATER MAIN FLUSHING

Cypress County will be flushing and testing Fire Hydrants and Water Mains from April to October annually.  This annual maintenance activity is necessary to maintain water quality and system infrastructure.  Residents may notice a slight discolouring of water during flushing activities.  The discolouring will be brief and is not harmful.  Running your tap water or garden hose will assist to clear any abnormalities.
