The Olympic Torch travelled through Seven Persons on Sunday January 17, 2010.  It began shortly after 9:00 a.m. at Highway 3, passed by the school where Reeve Darcy Geigle made some brief comments and then a second runner carried the torch back to Highway 3.

Thanks to the members of the Seven Persons & District Community Association and staff at Seven Persons School for their assistance in making this event successful.

The Torch was also seen in Ralston at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, from 5:19 p.m. until 5:44 p.m. on Saturday January 16, 2010.
