CALL TO ORDER:              10:32 A.M.

ELECTION OF REEVE:      The Deputy Reeve called for nominations for the position of Reeve.

George Russill nominated Jack Osadczuk.

Resolution No. 2003/258

Wayne Brost moved nominations cease.

Carried

Jack Osadczuk was elected Reeve and subscribed to the Oath of Office.

 

ELECTION OF

DEPUTY REEVE:                 The Reeve called for nominations for the position of Deputy Reeve.

Jack Osadczuk nominated Wayne Brost.

Sharon Getz nominated George Russill.

 

Resolution No. 2003/259

Wayne Brost moved nominations cease.

Carried

Wayne Brost was elected Deputy Reeve and subscribed to the Oath of Office.

APPOINTMENTS:               All current at-large members of County Boards were contacted and indicated a willingness to continue serving.  Also, two applications were received, one from Kipling Wiese for the Municipal Planning Commission and the other from Peter Swetnam for the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board.

 

Council reviewed each of the boards to determine whether the current councillors on each board wished to remain on that board and also to elect members at large, if need be.

 

Municipal Planning

Commission                              Applications for the at large positions were received from Gordon Bruins, Stan Stehr, Susan Wallace and Kipling Wiese.

                                                 Gordon Bruins, Stan Stehr and Kipling Wiese were elected.

 

Subdivision and

Development Appeal Board      Applications for the at large positions were received from Larry Brown, Desmond Grant, Ernest Mudie and Peter Swetnam.
