Medicine Hat River Hazard Study

As part of the Flood Hazard Identification Program, Alberta Environment and Parks in conjunction with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants will be undertaking the 'Medicine Hat River Hazard Study'. The goal of the study is to analyze risks, and to help reduce flood damages and increase public safety. Work on this project will commence in the Fall of 2017, with the study estimated to be completed in the Spring of 2019. A portion of the research for the project will be conducted on lands within Cypress County, along the South Saskatchewan River, Ross Creek, Seven Persons Creek and Bullshead Creek.
