Keynote Speaker — Brett Gardiner: The most-awarded announcer in western sports history. The 14-time Canadian Pro Rodeo Announcer of the Year, Brett, brings his unique energy and excitement to high-stakes events like the Calgary Stampede, the Canadian Finals Rodeo, and the PBR's Canada Cup series on TSN.
Brett's impact extends far beyond the arena. With a Master's in Counselling Psychology, Gardiner, who is pursuing his doctoral degree in Sport and Performance Psychology, he has become a sought-after mental performance coach, consultant, and speaker, bridging the gap between high performance and human wellness.
Keynote Speaker — John Knapp: In 2013, John retired as Deputy Minister of Agriculture after a 36-year career with the Government of Alberta. As a district agriculturist, specialist, and regional director in rural Alberta he worked closely with rural municipalities, agricultural service boards, agricultural societies, 4-H, and producer organizations at the municipal and zone level and later as Deputy Minister at the provincial level. John’s lifelong passion has been the advancement of agriculture - an industry he believes will form a progressively larger part of Alberta’s future economy. He sees rural organizations as vital architects of the necessary framework for Alberta’s agriculture industry to grow and prosper.
